About The Language Vault
We built this because grades shouldn't come down to luck.
After studying languages at Oxford University, we realised being capable with a language isn't enough. Passing the exam is a different skill, and good exam prep for it is genuinely hard to find. Revision guides that don't match the syllabus. Question banks with more gaps than questions. Speaking practice that happens once a term, if at all.
We know what separates a student who's learned a language from one who's ready to be examined on it. So we built the tool we wish we'd had — something that actually maps to what AQA, Edexcel, WJEC, CIE, and the IB expect, not a generic textbook trying to cover everyone at once.
What we believe
A great grade shouldn't depend on which school you went to, how much your parents can spend on tutoring, or whether you got a teacher who really understood exam technique. It should depend on how much you're willing to practise, and on having the right material to practise with.
That's the whole premise here: give every language student, wherever they're studying and whatever their budget, access to the same calibre of exam-specific preparation. Real past paper-style questions. Revision guides that sound like someone talking to you, not at you. AI coaches that give you the kind of instant, specific feedback a great teacher would — as many times as you need it, not just once a term.

Where we are now
We started this as one answer to a problem we saw clearly and cared about fixing. It's grown into a full exam prep system: Question Bank, Predicted Papers, Revision Guides, Grammar Hub, and AI-powered Speaking, Writing and Translation Coaches — for students working toward GCSE, iGCSE, AS, A-Level, and IB language exams.
